I have a couple edits to you PC, if you dont mind. B4 I do that I would like to say that you have made EXCELLENT choices thus far....

First, you have chosen a very unique Mobo....treat it such. Your mobo breaks record FSB speeds. Thus PC3200 is a waste your ur PC's talent

PC4400 is the right way to go

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-956&depa=0

I know it sounds extreme but other DFI users can confirm this. Ur mobo in this configuration will meet these speeds on the FSB.

Second the PSU is a little low for am AMD system. I know this stuff is pricy, but it will avoid future upgrades. I would get a 400w Forton at a minimum for OCing. Here is my choice

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-103-908&depa=0

Since you are looking for something quiet I'd check out this HSF.
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-118-101&depa=0

However it isnt nearly good as a thermalright. I sense that you are running under a tight budget ATM and cannot afford to spend $50 on a HSF (I understand), you can always get a Thermalright later on.

Most of all...

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!
...and the sickness:eek:

Two little things:

1) Seagate Drives IMHO rock. I have had three and had zero problems. A 30GB Baracuda II (I think it was II) lasted me from the beginning of 2001 until the end of 2002 and is still going strong in the same PC, but now someone else has it. I currently have 2 40GB Baracuda ATA IV drives in my main rig. One has been working great for a year and a half, the other for just under a year.

2) No DVD drive? They arent too expensive and are useful especially for games like UT2k4 where you either get an insane number of CDs or one DVD. Also useful for watching movies and stuff.

EDIT: Welcome to the forums :) Put your feet up, relax, and maybe check out our Folding@Home team?

Thanks!

Thanks for all your help, but I'm trying to stay under $820 in U.S. Currency.
I definately want to go with the 2600 mobile, dfi nfii infinity ultra, sapphire 9800 pro, 512mb+ ram, 80gb+ hdd, at least a 350 watt PSU, and at least a CD burner. Thanks!
