Always ask before opening and IE

I goofed. I was downloading a .zip file and a click by mistake the always ask befor download this type of file! Now i often download things to different places on my hard drive. But because it does not ask me i have to move it, i am aslo unable to just open a file. Could you tell me how i could turn it back to how it was befor. Thanks for your help.

I have fixed it, i found that i had to go into control pannel, folder options, find .zip and then tick confirm after download checkbox. Sorry to waist you time hope that it helps someone else that might do the same thing
