AmazonWireless Cell Phone deals?

I just got an email about AmazonWireless. Seems like some great prices on phones. Not sure if this is really a deal though.
I compared some phones to the prices listed on the carrier sites, huge difference. I'm sure it requires a service contract, but so do the prices on the carrier sites.

Purchased my past Samsung Eternity's from Amazon . Great service and even my billing was correct ( alot more so then my Verizon FIOS billing ) . Yes , there is a contract though , but everything was pretty painless compared to other sites .

The price for extending a contract is around $150 higher than the listed "new customer" price.

$.01 for the Bold is nice, but after using Android you couldn't pay me to move back to RIM.
