well, today my friend call me up and said his pc won't boot anymore. after i checking around and ask what he had done to his pc. the answer i get is he took out the cpu and add a new layer of AS paste. when he put that chip in, maybe somewhere around there...he crack out one of the pin. is that possible to rejoined them back?? i know it was hard or impossible to resolder back coz the pin was in the middle!!! if there no other way....i would call him to buy another new chip!! :(
 
I would say the chip is dead for good.....If you were very carefull you may be able to reconnect the pin but getting a iron in there and not soldering the other pins or damaging them and the heat of resoldering would probally do the chip in anyway
