Antec 1200: full throttle temperature difference is

minimal - turn on all the fans from minimum to maximum and all the components will be just 1 Celsius cooler. But the sound the case makes at maximum fan performance is too loud, so those additional buttons the case has especially designed for fan spin regulation are not really important..

I had the same findings when I used the case. I just left them around half.

Wouldnt this depend on internals? I saw more than that (2-4C)...

I assume that if you are dumping more heat into the case, the higher fan speed will help more. So yes, it does vary per system.
