I've been noticing that a lot of my games are getting poor anti-aliasing quality, and also some distortions in text. My old 6800 seemed to produce better, smoother edges (most notably at distance) than both of these newer cards. I'm using the newest drivers on both of them. I've tried about every option in the control panel on both systems.

Here's some screenshots to help you see what I mean

I get this same thing on both my 7950gt and my 8800 gtx systems.

The settings for my 8800 gtx :

I've noticed a bit of this in WoW with both my 6800GT and my new 8800GTS, did you see it in any other games too?

Battlefield 2142 seems a little messed up, things at distance seem to get very aliased like in WoW.

Oblivion seems fine though

I dont think that will keep you from playing :p

Of course it won't, WoW is my opium. But messed up text and jagged edges annoy me considering I spent quite a bit on this video card.

hmm i dont have any problems with wow .. i run at a really high res though ..
but i havent noticed anything ..
