Anyone else wanting the B550 variant of the Tomahawk?

I do, albeit they're at least roughly as expensive as the go-to motherboard of the FX days. (Same ballpark as Sabertooth 990FX R 2.0)

I was hoping that I wouldn't even have to spend anywhere near FX-motherboard-prices.

IIRC, I got my B450 for at or roughly $115 or closer to $120.

I think the new ones (for B550) are in the roughly $155-to-$180 price bracket.

I spent $160 or $170 on my Asus TUF B550 Plus MATX in July. I think it is a solid board though, no complaints. Was going to get a $70 or $80 board, but was really impressed at the power delivery of the board I ended up getting. Personally, I am glad that I did not go B450.

I have to admit that back when I had an FX 8350 processor, I noticed the Sabertooth 990FX R 2.0, had excellent onboard audio!

Tomahawk is a solid board, VRMs, and audio. A good bang for the buck option.
