Apple to ditch IBM, switch to Intel

Not me, I'm doing the opposite and buying a mac-mini before they're gone.

I think APPLE made a very BAD decision..To shift to Intel is like admitting a complete failure, IMO they should have moved to AMD where both companies could have moved foward as a team to combat Intel and Microsoft.

There is talk apparently that they will also consider AMD CPU's for some of their models, I don't think they'll be "exclusively" Intel....just mostly, since they are going to be x86 they can use AMD CPUs just as easily in their systems.
