I currently own the Asrock B350 pro 4 using patriot 32GB of memory and an AMD 2700 processor see models below I wanted to upgrade to the b450 steel legends board but I did not find my memory on the QVL approved list and needed to know if it would still work as I really like sticking with ASROCK. Hoping someone on here is using this board with this memory.

I want to upgrade to the following.

While this RAM is not on the list, I have a strong feeling that it will work. Generally, RAM that works with your CPU will work in any board that supports the timings. I'm not fully confident in my answer but I'm feeling about 60% right. Hopefully you find someone who did this or someone who knows better will chime in.

As said above, chances are it will work. The QVL list just shows TESTED kits. Maybe they didn't test that kit on the B450 board... or maybe it doesn't work. Tough call. But I'd get it and try. Worst case, you need to buy some memory (sell the other).

AMD is more particular about memory than Intel though... so, it's a crapshoot... but I lean towards it working as well.

Why are you upgrading though? What does that board offer your board currently doesn't?

I have this board, I tried a stick that wasn't on the list and it would not boot.I added a stick that is on the list in conjunction with the unsupported stick and I managed to boot. Try at your own risk.
