Asus M2N-E SLI + Phenom II

I want to upgrade my Athlon 64 with a Phenom II X4 945 on my Asus M2N-E SLI board, now I know that there are plenty of threads regarding this subject, but Asus has released a new BIOS for this board 2 months ago and none of those threads that I could find have been written since this BIOS update.

Has anyone here actually tried to run a Phenom II X4 on this board?

After looking here they've added some K8 CPUs but there are still no Phenoms (K10's) on the list and I doubt if there will be. The earliest nVidia chipset I've seen that supports Phenoms is the 560 (even those rarely support them) and that board uses the 500 ...
