Hi,

For a while I've been using undervolt on my GPU : 0.837 @ 1865 Mhz for having lower temps.
today i've been playing and using the stock profile,
I've played on Days Gone which I remember was quite heavy on the memory.

I saw that the core temp maxed at 70c and memory temp at 88c, with an average around 84c.

i'm playing at 4k on an oled C1 display.

here are some tests i made on cyberpunk at 4k using those settings :

Undervolt : 1965Mhz @ 0.931 average : https://www.zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=22/10/djim.jpg

Are the temps ok on stock profile?

Thanks

Your temps are fine, those chips are made for higher temps. Cooler is always better but you're not going to damage anything as is.

Normal operating temps of VRAM is between 80° and 95° C

I just read elsewhere it was ok untill 105 c for memory temp junction?

Your temps are fine, you don't need to mess around with copper or even simple repadding.

That video makes me wonder if ASUS didn't royally screw up with the cooler pressure measurements, I mean, it looks way too much of an improvement from going from pads to copper shins alone ? Would be far from the 1st GPU that benefits from the extra millimeters of padding/pressure...
