Auto network login

Does anyone know of a program that sustains a login session on a network.....say a college one? The college in question is Wright State, and every once in a while when you open the internet explorer (Mozilla in this case) you have to enter a username/password to have internet access.

I've heard of a program that does this, but I don't know the name.
