i have a friend looking for a dvd player to pair with a big DLP tv. any suggestions? will anything with component video or HDMI be acceptable? what sort of price range will he need to look at? hes not looking for anything special. just a good picture (so far hes kinda ****ed, since regular tv looks a bit crappy).

edit: maybe video & sound would have been better, or maybe this doesn't fit anywhere

My bro has a Panasonic DVD/CD Player DVD-S77, which he brought for $229+, to use for his Westinghouse LCD TV with DVI input and he likes it. The dvd player has a HDMI and component video + plus, more.. I don't have that much knowledge of DVD players compare to bro, but you can look it up in google.
