Hi Guys!

I'm in the middle of a switchover from AMD (as in sig) to a Haswell 4770k platform.

I've got my heart set on the Corsair Vengeance Pro in a 16GB size, but I'm unsure what Mhz or timing to get. It's primarily a gaming rig.

Any help appreciated! :)

On haswell, DDR3-1866/2133 at tighter timings will give you about the same performance as anything clocked higher but at more relaxed timings.
High memory clock has some point when you are benchmarking.
Considering actual memory prices I would recommend to stick to 1866/2133 as performance is higher than 1600 and price is about the same.
If you really want Vengeance Pro then 1866 will be probably best option.
