The man wants nvidia because he wants nvidia. I myself love nvida. Whether or not my reasons are founded amidst anything except my own preference and the fact that the first badass card I ever had was a 4600ti. If I were you I would go 5900xt all the way. I have a 5900xt on my backup rig and I love it. There is only one thing that I noticed, that I had forgotten. And that is when I turn up all of the effects in the nvidia control panel, I get fuzzyness on Dark Age of Camelot(which is the game that I play the most). I had forgotten but I had gotten the same wierd effect with my 5950U before I switched to a 9800Xt. Good luck, you'll be happy with that card.
