Brand new Win 8 laptop, network is awful.

Grandparents just bought an Asus x501a, literally 3 days old, Windows 8.

Network issues from day 1.

I've reinstalled all of the drivers, tried it on various networks, it barely connects, and takes 5 minutes to load a page (if it loads).

Anyone else have these problems/any solutions?

Are you using a 3rd party wifi utility? Intel, realtek, netgear etc?
