Randomly happened when I was watching a video file with VLC.

According to googlez, it could be a hard drive problem. Chkdsk found no bad sectors, and the WD Diagnostic tool passed all 3 of my drives.

Any ideas?

Also, Windows said it "recovered" from said error when it rebooted, I told it to check for solutions but it just closed, finding nothin -_-

Could also be a memory issue...

Have you updated your codecs on VLC?

Err... no? How would one check if they need to be updated?

Maybe the NTFS driver got corrupted?

Try running:

Code:
SFC /SCANNOW

thx, running now

EDIT:

Found no integrity violations.

Sigh.
