Looks good but for a few changes:-
1.Fortron BlueStorm instead of the FSP530 because of the 24 pin connector and more amps on the 12 V line.
2.Thermalright XP-120 for your HSF.

The rest looks good

i would get the dfi sli board instead of the asus. a lot of people are having very good results with the dfi board.

1. Fortron 530W Power Supply, Model "FSP530-60GNA" -RETAIL $78.00 As mentioned, the Fortron Blue Storm 500W is 24-pin, and will make for a better choice
2. Memory - G.skill (Samsung TCCD) Dual Channel Kit 184-Pin 512MB(256MB x 2) DDR PC-4400, Model F1-3200DSU2-512LE - Retail - $135.50 If you're strapped for cash, go with one 512MB stick now, and upgrade to the second one later (if possible) Otherwise, just go for the full-blown 1GB kit
3. Video Card – ATI Radeon X800 XL Video Card, 256MB GDDR3, 256-Bit, DVI/TV Out, PCI-E, Model "100-435500" –OEM- $304.00
4. Sound Card - Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS PCI Sound Card, Model "SB0350" -RETAIL - $91
5. Floppy Disk – Samsung Black 1.44MB 3.5inch Floppy Disk Drive, Model SFD321B/LBL1, OEM Drive Only - $9
6. Hard Drive – Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10, 000RPM SATA Hard Drive, Model WD740GD, OEM Drive Only - $179.99 Waste of money here. You're better off with two drives in RAID
8. Motherboard - ASUS "A8N-SLI Deluxe" nForce4 SLI Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket 939 CPU –RETAIL - $199 If you're going to use an x800XL, you have no need for an SLI motherboard. I suggest a DFI NF4 Ultra-D or MSI K8N Neo 4 instead
9. Processor – AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 512KB L2 Cache, Socket 939 64-bit Processor - Retail - $190 Since you're going with high-HTT TCCD, stick to the 3000+.It's cheaper, and they'll overclock the same
11. Mouse - Logitech Blue Performance Optical Mouse PS2/ USB, Model "MX510" -RETAIL - $39
12. Keyboard – Logitech Elite Keyboard USB/ PS/2 104keys -RETAIL - $24.99
13. CD DRIVE/Burner - Lite-On Black 52X32X52 CD-RW Drive, Model LTR-52327S, OEM - $23.50 I'd go for the DVD/CD-RW burner combo instead
14. Case - A-TOP Gladiator Silver ATX Mid Tower Case With 450W Power Supply, Model "AT878-BK 450W" –RETAIL - $88
15. Monitor - SAMSUNG 710N-2-Black 17" LCD Monitor -RETAIL - $279.00 As a heads up, you'll want a monitor with no more than 16ms response time, and DVI IS A MUST. My suggestion would be the 17" Viewsonic VP171B-2

Get the dfi ultra d and mod it into a sli board. You should also get a gig of ram mabe some UTT if you get the dfi. I 2nd the blue storm, but if you get the dfi you might want might want to get the 420 Powerstream because of the easy access to the pots. Correct me if I'm wrong but AFAIK the vdimm on the dfi nf4 still runs off the 3.3v rail. Remeber the UTT and the Powerstream should only be considered if you get the dfi.

Search froogle for audigy 2, I believe the sound you get is essentially the same, but the peripherals and accessories are different... You can certainly get audigy 2 sound for much cheaper than the $91 price tag there. :eh?:

The NF4 DFI's have a jumper that will allow the vdimm to draw from either the +3.3 volt (if you have an adjustable power supply) or the +5 volt (which requires a bit more cooling of the board itself.

Good to know. Since the vdimm can be drawn from the +5v I suggest you get the AX500-A Blue Storm instead of the the 420w Powerstream. Or you can get the FSP550-60PLG or FSP550-60PLN. As for the budget case, I recomend this: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-117-031&depa=0 although this: http://dealsonic.com/skmssialatxm.html version of the same case looks better, they no longer carry it @ newegg.
