Hello guys,
I'm just thinking on updating myself to the ddr3
Now I have a m3n-hd and I would like to update to GIGABYTE MA790xta-UD4H
with 2gb Ram kingstone 1600mhz CL9, and a tecnimax 600w atx?

I have an amd x4 955 and a nvidia 9600gt

Is it worth enough? Do you recommend any other components?
Thanks!

Agreed ^^. Not sure you will get much if any performance increase from that... not worth it. Save your money for a more worthwhile and noticeable upgrade. Maybe go to 4GB DDR2 now.

Depending on what OS you are running, if you are running XP, 2gb of memory is probably enough, but if you are running Vista or Win7, then, I would have to agree with the above and stick with your current board and upgrade to 4g's of memory staying with DDR2. The board you have still has plenty of life left... the pci-x16 is vsn 2.0 and you can run the all the current AMD cpu's. Also, if you are a gamer, then the money might be better spent on an upgrade to the video card, which you could carry with you to the next board... Just my thoughts.
