I HIGHLY RECOMMMEND that you head on over to www.photography-on-the.net/forum/ it's an Unofficial Canon Forum, HUGE user base, tons of Canon related information, they will be much better suited to help you out there.

Probably, I'm a Canon user, so I'm not completely sure, but I'm sure there's another forum somewhere on the net that has a good Nikon user base, or is Nikon oriented.

I shoot with a nikon d200. Finding a nikon counterpart for photography on the net is a bit difficult. Main sites i visit are dpreview.com and nikonians.org if you can get over the horrible site design
