Well problem solved, I purchased 2 sticks of Hyandai 512Mb DDR400's and left the memory timings on auto and pc works, not buying Kingston again thtas for sure.

All gets back to the board being very picky with memory. Great to hear you are back up and running. The MOBO is already outdated but still really quick in dual channel mode.
