I have an iomega 320gig external USB drive. Works fine got plenty of space left on it. I try to move this large 4.3gig *.iso file and get an error saying:
"error copying file or folder there is not enough free disk space". Then it offers to do disk cleanup.

Is there some kind of USB protocol restriction that does not allow transfer of such large files? Is there a way around this?

Boris.

The drive is probably formatted Fat32... max file size is ~4GB. If you reformat the drive to NTFS you will not have this problem. Be aware - OSX and NTFS do not play nice together incase you do have a Mac.
