I have been stareing at the fans on New Egg for a while and I just unsure of what to buy I have read a lot of reviews, but those seem very hit and miss with varying opinions.

Here is my purchases so far.

MB:ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core

Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Case: Thermaltake Level 10 Series Level 10 GTS Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

First question: Should I replace the existing case and CPU fans? Currently just using the stock fan that came with the i5-3570

Here is what the case takes for fan:
HDD Air Cooling System

1. Front (intake) : 200 x 200 x 20 mm Blue LED fan (600rpm, 13dBA) - Included

CPU Air Cooling System

2. Top (exhaust) : 200 x 200 x 30 mm fan x 1 or 120 x 120 x 25 mm fan x 2 (Optional) -
3. Rear (exhaust) : 120 x 120 x 25 mm Turbo Fan (1000rpm,16dBA) - Included
4. Side (intake) : (optional & only for None window version)
200 x 200 x 30 mm fan or 140 x 140 x 25 mm fan x 1
CPU cooler height limitation: 175mm

I would like to get some blue/red led fans. What should i get that is both reliable, decently quiet and provides sufficient cooling. Oh and again must look cool. Have no interest in water so air only recommendations please.

Budget: under $100 i think is reasonable if recommended to replace and add all new.

Thanks

Please don't use reviews on Newegg or Amazon. Try typing in 'PC fan reviews'. PC fan tests'. In 1 to 3 hours your eyes will bleed but you'll learn a ton. And look around here. We actually have a Fan sticky done by Bluezero, might want to read it.

And this to show what's availible one you get your Google-fu going.

This is a bit outdated though, but it's out there. Lucky for you PC cooling etc is a hobby and you have the rest of your life to figure it out.

Yeah I was at the eye bleeding point a couple of days ago. I know better then to read the reviews on Newegg, but I cant help my self. I did see some of the crazy set up's in the post of pics of peoples systems. It seems some like to have fans all over the place in their cases. I placed an order with Newegg and picked out a variety of differnt fans just going to try them out so I see what you mean by the hobby part. The 120mm fans are not very expensive so I dont mind spending the money. Newegg was running a 20% off promo code on all case fans so it was a good time to try a few out.

Sythe Slipstreams tend to be the tried-and-true for case fans, while Scythe Gentle Typhoons seem to be the same, except for radiatiors and CPU coolers.

Personally I find both rather expensive, Yate Loons I like the best as they appear to have the best balance between noise, power, (even the high speeds aren't very loud at ~3500RPM) and cost.

Thanks for the links I actually did read the post about differnt fans before posting.
Any advice between these two 200 MM fans?

The 120mm Cooler master fan that i recommend to you are pretty good, at for the 200mm fan, try this one
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master...&qid=1360095357&sr=8-2&keywords=200mm+led+fan
or this fan if you want good looking and good performance
http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-FAN-NT-L...qid=1360095357&sr=8-15&keywords=200mm+led+fan

Scroll down the page, read the spec of both fan and you will see that they're a good fans at an affordable price

Thanks for the fair warning Zenos I did read that about the bitfenix fan.
I actually ordered one of the Cooler Master and one of the NZXT see which one I like best.

The Cooler master led light are a deep red, the NZXT are kind of bright red/orange and the cable are sleeve so it look some what better than the C M fan
