What's the clock speed of a 2200+? I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU. It's not too much longer until there are no more new Socket A CPUs, so I might as well make the jump now or in the near future. Are there any good steppings yet? Or should we wait awhile?

The Rev B T-Breds are out, the 2400 and 2600. Wait for those, they OC MUCH better than the 2200's which run at 1800Mhz.

the Barton? I don't think I've ever heard of this. What would the 2600+ run at? Thanks, fellas!

the 2400+ is a revision B t bred its a remodled cpu it has a slightly bigger core compared to the 2200+ and also uses less voltage than that they prevuisly thought thats due to the gold Transiters instead of silicone also they overclock 400 to 500 mhz higher wich is awsome

2400+ and 2600+ and up will all have these new specs

the 2700+ and 2800+ will have the new 166fsb (333) on the cpu but they wont be here till a long time

the 2400+ is 2ghz and the 2600+ is 2133mhz im getting me a 2600+ when they are actually out wich should be a week

the 2600+ and below are only 266 bus?

Yeah, I think I'm also going to get one. I really want to upgrade

Oh yeah, and are there good steppings rated for the 2600+ out yet? Or should we just rely on luck? :(

I don't know if I have a local store that sells CPUs alone. :(

I'll just trust newegg. I did when I built my below computer... :D

the 2200 does not OC terribly, ive got mine locked at 2040 MHZ 151 FSB At 13.5 with Vcore at 1.85 and 46 deg C. this a 240 MHZ OC from a locked cpu folks a buddie of mine has his at 2070 MHZ
and hes still going up with it.
