Hi guys,
I am made my new build using the cm storm scout 2 case :). As I am planning to overclock for the first time (and a bit scared) i also got 4 cm sickle flow(red LED) fans. Now the problem, though I don't hear them while I am gaming (I don't hear anything except the game), they are way too loud for regular use. I am now interested in getting a fan controller to help with that, but heard that my fans don't work well with some controllers. So any recommendations on which controller to get for my fans? one that will look good in my case preferably. thanks in advance for your advice.

I was told that I may get a horrible clicking sound if I use certain controllers (Nxzt sentry 2 for example) don't want to waste money and since i have the fans already just want to be sure.

thnx for the info, so then any suggestions on which one to get and why?

I like to use manual fan control, i don't really like touch screen fan controller
If i were to buy a manual fan controller, i'll go with this one, you can daisy chain up to 3 fan fer channel

thanks that looks like it may just fit great with the mesh on the front of my case (though i like the modern sexier look of touch screens) one question wont those knobs get slack with use?

Those fan controller should last around 1 years,( same thing with your fan) after that, you'll have to get a new one, can't expect it to last forever.
If you like touch screen check out this one, i'm currently using this on my back up pc

My fan controllers have always lasted me more than a year................ Had 5 or 6 since 2007....... Again, it's because I got better ones.

Fans? Some are over 3 years old, only had 3-5 die on me since 1996 with my first 486 PC, home built.:shrug: Only reason they didn't last beyond 3 years is I bought better ones. Heck my wifes PC has fans in it from 2008 in an Antec 900, still working. Was mine, then my son's now her case.
