I just got my TR SP-97 and mounted that sucker. I used to get 38/45 for my CPU temps. Now I am down to 36/41, AS5 is not set in yet. Only problem, my Mobo temp went from 29 up to 35(both load). Is this a common occurance? I am not really too worried about it, I was just curious. Thx.

That's quite a big jump, but it does make some sence and I have heard of this before. The raise is caused by your new heatsink blowing hot air onto the mobo. The old heatsink probably didn't blow air across the mobo in the same way.

I figured that. Although, I can now go a bit higher in my OC(only a 0.1 jump so far). I will take that. This HS blows the air in a different direction also. Oh well. As long as it doesnt go abouve 35c, I will be content.
