Confused builder

Hi everyone new member here and hoping for some help.I've just built a new pc and I cant work out whats wrong with it.

Pc Specs:

MB = rampage iv extreme
Cpu = Intel i7 4960x
Ram = 32gig dominator platinum
Cooler = corsiar H90
Gfx = 2x geforce titans
Running win 7 64bit

Now the problem i'm having is that its running like crap this is the 3d mark 11 resualts

Im thinking its the cpu but would the pc even run if it was stuffed, the only other thing I can think of is the MB.

Your not talking about a bottleneck, you want a higher score. Motherboard is not going to limit scores in real experience.

Your score should probably be around 10k as seen here

Do you have the cards in sli?

Make sure the board has the latest BIOS flashed to it as well.

No the cards weren't in sli was just running the single, during the test the gpu was running about 30-40 fps but when it tested the cpu it was running at 1-2 fps. Now there is a problem there, could this be a faulty MB or could it be the cpu. I live in the middle of Aus and the closest major pc store is 8 hrs away so I kinda need to find what is dead in the pc before I start sending pieces for warranty.

Yea, that board came out way before the -E CPU your using, needs the latest version to work correctly. Actually I'm surprised it even booted at all.....LOL Glad you're up and rockin'
