My Rooms temps are around 68ish id think, thats what i have the thermostat set to.

About manually setting the voltages, the Auto feature on this gigabyte Motherboard dosnt seem to let it go over 1.3761v, which is pretty much where the guide is telling us to set it as.
The specs on the other Fans in my case are in this link:

My case is 100% stock, didn't add anything after market.

Also, just to check for consistency, just did another IntelBurnTest, on Max stress using about 15GB of memory. highest temp is consistent at 65C.

Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3, i5 2500k, Cooler Master v6GT, Zotac Nvidia 560 ti 448, 16GB Corsais XMS3 DDR3 1600. 850Watt Lepa Power supply, Rosewill Thor Full tower case.

Also, one thing that just came to mind. When i got th 78C temps, i was running Crossfired 4870s which created a ton of heat. After installing the Nvidia 560 ti card, the temps dropped. It was either that, or the thermal paste just settling.

@SPECOPSPC
so 56C on full load? id like to get mine to that point. Just outta curiosity, would you mnd running the Intel burn test. I wonder if there is a difference between prime95 and intelburntest. http://www.xgamingstudio.com/files/IntelBurnTest.zip

CF'd 4870s are hot as hell, if they're anything like the 4890 in temperatures. Would not be surprised if they upped your processor temperatures - blowing warm air across the heatsink isn't as good as cool air xD.

A couple of hot running components near the cpu can easily bring the temps up for sure!
Lowering the vcore will lower those temps easily, my 2500K running at 1.15 vCore has a maximum core temp of 49 C. But of-course, this is when I have not overclocked it and with a very low vCore.

If I have the vCore set at 1.37v and the clock speed at 4,7 Ghz I get a maximum coretemp of 76C. During these load tests one of my cores stayed at 62C thats a 14C difference between the individual cores!
So you could definitely see what impact the voltage has on the cpu.
