Maybe in 12-18 months people will be talking about DDR3 prices in the same way that they are talking about DDR2 now.

It is just insane when a 2 GB kit of decent DDR2 cost $35-$50 and an equivalent quality DDR3 kit is $200-$300. At least now some DDR3 can be found for under $200, as opposed to everything being $400 plus.

For many folks that makes it real hard to justify moving over to DDR3.
