This is my very first computer build, and so far, it's been nothing but frustration for me. First of all here's my build:

Everything was going smooth, installed everything and it was mostly a breeze. Then when I pressed the power button, the LED fans came on (they were connected to the PSU thru molex connectors). The GPU fans also kicked in. Nothing else. The stock Intel heatsink didn't turn on. Then the next day, I did a bare build with no case. At first, it was the same result. Then the Intel heatsink randomly turned on. But still no POST. There is one Chassis fan header, and that did not work either. I reset CMOS also, took out both RAMs, no POST. One RAM, no POST. The power LED isn't on either. I'm beginning to think that half my motherboard is working, the other isn't.

Any ideas?

we have somewhat similar specs, what i would i would do is unplug all of the unnecessary devices needed to boot. worth a shot atleast.
