CPU Temperature

Hi. I just bought a new thermal paste for my CPU but it did not absolutely work.

My CPU reaches about 120 degrees when playing games and 90 degrees when idle -_-

Is it a Bad Thermal paste? or should I buy a new heatsink?

Can somebody help me please? This is the thermal paste i have. THANKs for your help !

We measure in Celcius here, I'm sure you are using Farenhite. Plese repost using C.

90C? CPUs won't work at those temps.

What are you measuring temps with?

Wow E2180. Okay, use Realtemp instead. Speedfan is way outdated.

Look at the COREtemp, not the CPU temp. Coretemps are what matter, your CPU temp is a sensor on the mobo that Speedfan isn't reading right. Common for such an old program.
