D Link Router!!!

I just bought a D link router d624 and it says it gets about 300 feet of signal but i walk into my family which is about 20 feet away and i get no signal what the hell. anyways is there anything i can do to boost my signal? Thanks.

The 300 feet quoted will be not including walls and floors etc. Are you behind, for example, thick walls when testing this?

You can boost the range by upgrading your antennas (router and other wifi device).

I got the di-624. As of late my range has been dropping and theres been no changes in the wifi path. So basically I would go with an antenna upgrade.

no nothing. i even did a firmware upgrade and nada. i got a TV about 10 feet away and a phone in the kitchen (about20 feet away).
