Difference between these two 840 Evos

The pro is MLC nand (multi level cell) and the non-pro is TLC (Triple level cell).

Here is an article on Anandtech about the differences. It seems that the TLC unit has fewer program/erase cycle capability. I wouldn't worry about that too much though, any type of nand used nowadays has useful life far exceeding our PC style workloads.

If it were me, I would get the less expensive one since speeds and capacities are the same.
