Okay so I am going to buy a PC, and here are the specs:

GPU: AMD Radeon 7850

CPU: i5 4670k 3.4GHz

MoBo: Gigabyte® Z87N-WIF

SSD: 30 GB Corsair Nova 2

HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda

NOTE: I WILL BE OVERCLOCKING

How big a power supply will I need?

TDP of a 7850 is 130W, with a +20% cap when OCing, so 156W there.

The 4670K is a 84W TDP. When OCed, my guess would be something like 115-120W (probably high, but better be safe than sorry).

Everything else would be around 40W. Add those up and you're looking at about 315W.

This is all a 12V load though. So when you look at a PSU, don't look at the total wattage, but look at the label on the side. It should say +12V with a wattage underneath, that's the number you're looking for.

Also don't forget that having a high quality PSU is just as important as making sure it has enough wattage.

A quality 550W PSU is PLENTY for that system overclocking both CPU and GPU to the moon.

If you may go CFx in the future grab a 750W PSU.
