Do I need to re-install the OS?

Hey guys,

I wanting to use my laptop HDD for my first computer build until I have the cash to buy one.

Do you think that I'll will have to re-install the OS for it to work?

I would as you will be having a ton of new hardware. Likely to avoid a ton of potential issues and driver conflicts if you reformat.

The best thing to do for now is reinstall it. Your laptop probably has different hardware from your new Desktop so most stuff won't be compatible and you will most likely have a ton of errors
