Does an ASUS M5A99X EVO have thermal shutdown protection in the BIOS?

I was looking in my BIOS and I can't seem to find if this board has cpu thermal shutdown protection. If it does can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

It should be in the Health or monitoring section of the bios and the CPU also has thermal shutdown built into it.

Ok I'll have a look around again in the bios. Reason I'm asking is I'm in the process of putting together a watercooled system for the current pc. I was concerned of what would happen if the pump failed.

I noticed that FX cpus are shutting down at about 100*C no matter if any protection is enabled or not.

I would think that considering 61 is max temp, at 100 some damage would be occuring no?

It shouldn't burn till somewhere near ~120*C but noone knows. My cpu went up to 100*C couple of times and it's fine without visible degradation ( don't ask how it reached 100+ )
