I was looking in my BIOS and I can't seem to find if this board has cpu thermal shutdown protection. If it does can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Ok I'll have a look around again in the bios. Reason I'm asking is I'm in the process of putting together a watercooled system for the current pc. I was concerned of what would happen if the pump failed.

I noticed that FX cpus are shutting down at about 100*C no matter if any protection is enabled or not.

I would think that considering 61 is max temp, at 100 some damage would be occuring no?

It shouldn't burn till somewhere near ~120*C but noone knows. My cpu went up to 100*C couple of times and it's fine without visible degradation ( don't ask how it reached 100+ :) )
