Does my DVD Burner support Read/write Dual Layer?

Hello, I don't know if it's able. I think all DVD players should be able to read DL, as original Movie DVDs come in that format right? Well, everest told me this info about the optical drive, but I can't understand it very well. Thanks for the help.
