E2200 cooler on Q8300 - pretty urgent

Would E2200 stock cooler be good enough for Q8300 (not OC'ed); will it even fit?

There are two coolers for socket 775 AFAIK. The fat one and the skinny one.

If it's the fat one it'll be fine with any 775 CPU at stock.

Good enough? Probably not.

You can pick up a Coolermaster Hyper 212 for less than 30 bucks. That'll be great.
