This is my first overclock just verifying that all is well with my cpu. I've ran Prime 95 for hours and gamed for hours without any crashes. I think I can go lower on Vcore maybe? or push Ghz/Bclock up while pushing vcore & VTT more?

System:

Xclio Windtunnel Advanced Full Tower

EVGA X58 SLI LE

Intel Core i7 930

EVGA 460 GTX SC 1GB @ 837/1674/2110

Mushkin Redline DDR3 1600 6-8-6-24

Noctua NH-D14

(Air Cooling)

Room Temp = 80F

What I've changed:

Bclock = 190x21 (4ghz)

Uncore = x16

VTT = 100mV

Vcore = 1.3V

VDroop [Enabled]

HyperThreading [Enabled]

Fans @ Temp > 55C = 100%

Idle Temps = 39C-35C-37C-34C

100% Load Prime 95 = 70C-67C-66C-64C

Gaming Load = 66C-63C-62C-60C

The overclock looks good, other than the DRAM timings at 11-11-11-29 (rated for 6-8-6-24 at 800 MHz). Or did you purposely loosen the timings until you find the max. clock?

I just left all the memory settings to auto to make my life easier while oc'n the CPU, should I try to bump down my ram timings 1 value each till it doesn't boot? or will it run faster at the auto timings?

Anything over 4.2GHz in my opinion is not worth the extra heat unless you have really good cooling. 60°C for gaming should be the max.:blah:
Run your timings @ 8 8 8 20 or 7 7 7 16 and see if its stable for you - Only if you are overclocking higher...

Just leave the timings where they're at currently until you find your max. overclock. Either that or adjust the timings to 6-8-6-24 at rated Vdimm, but lower the DRAM frequency by using a x6.0 multiplier = DDR3-1140 (570 MHz) at a 190 MHz BCLK.
