The first setup isn't really designed for overclocking, but it's a cheap computer for anyone interested in buying one for their kid or something. The last 3 setups are (ok, good, and better) for overclocking (respectively). Of course the last setup isn't the BEST on the market right now, but it is good enough to satisfy any serious gamer. If you are an "OUT OF MIND" "FREAK" Computer savy, don't worry, there are $5000 computer builds out there that you can blow your mind and money on if you'd like!!

Not bad, but there are a lot of variables to consider when doing something like that. Some people may not need a video card for your first setup, onboard video may work fine depending on what your doing.

Also, some may be get Intel instead of AMD for the lower end computer setups.

Also one more thing to comment on, you seem biased towards ATI, lol. You could've gotten a 7800GT or a cheap 7800GTX for your Extreme/Gaming Computer.

Most probably WOULDN'T recommend a FX-55 as well...lol, just some comments.

I was planning to make a guide like this, but way too many variables in it, ie. gaming or working, AMD or Intel, nVIDIA or ATI, OCing or not OCing.

Yeah, on the extreme computer you seemed pretty unbalanced. I mean a $55 case for $2000 worth of equipment? A rosewill 19" monitor? Other than that it was interesting to compare the different price ranges to see what you'd get.

Haha, yea, I seem biased towards ATI, b/c I have never used 7800GT...In the future, after I've tried and tested EVERY computer and EVERY component, I will make one with every aspect. HAHA in the meantime, that's why I started this thread to get others to throw in their ideas, and then everyone should get a piece of the pie
