If the charts are correct for the times on the Wiki page all of that is about 690 MH/s

All folding 24/7/365 at my prime I was ranked 8th on the team, the team was ranked 3rd. I was pushing over 6 figure PPD. Folding for about a year and a half on and off to reach 44 million. I am now in a state of shock and pseudo depression:bang head:bang head:bang head:bang head:bang head

2009 the difficulty was 1, even in 2010 it jumped to 210

I would have had a BOATLOAD of coins

10 MH/s a day would be .054432
20 would be .108864
100 .54432
300 1.63296
500 2.7216 BTC a day

I know at one point almost all the rigs were going for 52 days in a row, just that number right there not to mention the straggler weeks, etc.

Makes me sick to think of how many coins I would have made and if I wouldn't have sold them off for stupid crap LOL.

Anyone else have this same sinking feeling of regret that we were folding instead of mining?

My brother, who has two different cancers in remission, is very glad you ‘wasted’ all that time folding instead of mining.

Thank you.

Yes Mike, that's an option today. But Curecoin wasn't around when these guys contributed 27,000 WUs each. That's a lot of CPU SMP work units before the high point GPU WUs!

Don’t get me wrong, brother I’m glad I did it. A friend died from als! Cancer, etc... I guess wasted was a poor term‍♂️

I don't feel I wasted anything (really) but thinking that I could be a millionare hurts a bit =)

Never do the "could'a, would'a, should'a". You will drive yourself nuts.

Very very true. If I did what I planned to back in the day...
I was going to buy a hundred shares of Google IPO/Nexflix IPO/some IPO when it initially happened... I would of made money.
If I actually looked into Bitcoin and took it some what seriously back in 2009-2010 when it first was starting to come around and just dropped $100 in cold hard cash... I could of retired last week with $400million, or even now over $530million. Course you would probably sold some if not most of it off when it was at a lower price ($500, $1000, $5000, $10,000....) just because you'd be afraid to potentially loose all that cash, then really kick yourself more that you didn't just hold onto it.

So many situations wish could do differently, but really the question is, are you really that much better of not doing vs doing it?

For now I'll enjoy my little that I do mine (past 3.5 months, as I just started) and enjoy a little upgrade here or there, maybe a down payment on a truck in a year or just let it sit and see what really can become of it in a few years.

If you were to go back, you would have done the same thing, OP. Human nature.
Just like JLK said, you did good. Hold on to it.
I'm being all philosophical now. Time to hit the pillow :)
