First impressions of Vista.

I left the computer off for a couple hours and just turned it back on with the drives my dad needs. Went into the BIOS made sure boot order was ok and proceeded to start Vista. Vista started fine, detected the drive and now it's working. :confused:
 
Yah as for the warning. After you disable UAC and restart. You will get the popup. Click on the popup and it will take you to security center

on the left side at the bootom click "Change how system notifies me"

It gives you 3 options. popup & icon just icon or no popup & no icon (not recommended it reads)

Personally even though I disabled it, I am going to turn it back on i think. Because I think disabling it has caused some problems with hacking my program files...
