Fitting question - 16/10 same fittings as 5/8x3/8?

So I'm shopping around for some fittings, and I've used bitspower in the past, but I am now considering Alphacool's stuff. However, Alphacool seems to advertise sizes in metric, 16mmOD/10mmID, and the tubing I've bought is 5/8ODx3/8ID. The OD I'm not too worried about since the difference is only a few mils, but the ID measurements differ by about .019". Has anyone used metric fittings with english spec'd tubing? How did it work?

Usually metric measurements are hardline and standard measurements are for soft tubing.
Here are some alphacool fittings that will work. Any of the 3/8×5/8in fittings will work so if you prefer bp fittings you can get those instead.
