It's still a little sketch but it works, at least the last time I tried it. Basically in MakeMKV (after you insert the blu-ray disc) you set it to stream as uPNP which sets up a DLNA server. Once the DLNA server is up, you can use VLC to open up the network stream (Media > Open Network Stream)
