Sorry, I expected to make video about Pentium G3258 but prices changed and I had more than 500$ for system build.
So i decided to stick with AMD this time.
This is version on Russian, I didn't managed to make English version but I will do next one for sure.

So, what do you think about build and overall impression from the picture.

Marry Christmas to everyone!

Not bad. outdated, but not bad.

Thx.

I'm already think about next build. )
350$

I'm just trying to figure out that system can be build for 350$.
So, I'm thinking about AMD APU variations.
It seems to me that there is nothing more can be done for this money.

I'm not sure that PS4 or Xbox One can make this:

I'm owner of PS4 and can't say that it's capable for such detalization and quality of picture.

But next year you'll have to change GPU if you play any kind of more heavy games.

Far Cry 4 is 40 fps with an i7....

Thats ok but did you see what I posted for you in other thread? You have better video but that athlon might bottleneck. The APU or FX I posted wont.

So Far Cry 4 runs like crap eh?

I miss original far cry from crytek, what ubisoft did to the series was butcher it. The original was a totally different story different characters, it was hilarious the one liners and one of the best single player games ever not to mention amazing graphics for its time and one of the first 64 bit games.

Its the Dunia engine anyway...

I guess what I was getting at/do not understand is since the FC series didn't start on the console, its a true PC game (AFAIK), wouldn't the engine used still carry over when its ported to the console? I am not sure how those things work.

EDIT: This didn't discern: http://gearnuke.com/far-cry-4-ps3-vs-ps4-vs-pc-image-comparison-shows-solid-effort-platforms/

Soooo, its running on the same engine...righT?

Exactly all this crap now are console ports which is vomitable. Original Far Cry was PC only. Only console port I have is star wars force unleashed and am forced to use a gamepad to play it, not a game for mouse and keyboard.

Put this instead of the Athlon

Bulldozer core but still better then an athlon http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd4200frw4kgu

Not a bad build. I am much more impressed with this one. Video was in Russian again... so I had no idea what any of it was about. Skipped through it looking for English language section(s) but there were none so I shut it off. I'm sure we'd all appreciate an English Language version of the video so we could critique it. Also, not sure this qualifies as a console killer. This is more "Console equivalent" IMO. Still, good build.

Thx.

I'm working on the English version of this video and also on the new "Entry level gaming build" :

So, here is:

AMD A8-7600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock FM2A88M EXTREME4+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
Mushkin Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Azza SIRIUS ATX Mid Tower Case
EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Total is : 375$.

I think this system has a wright for a living in terms of budged gaming PC for 720p resolution.

What would you say?

Can't game properly on an A8 IMO. Not without running at least in dual graphics mode. Athlon (FM2) builds with discrete video like the one this thread is about make WAY more sense to me.
