After some longer break I back with not so high series DDR4 but for sure in a great price. Today's test will be based on a Geil EVO Potenza 16GB DDR4-2133 CL15-15-15 1.20V memory kit.

Product number of this kit is GPR416GB2133C15QC and it's based on Samsung IC which is the most popular in the latest DDR4 memory kits.










Tested memory kit has no XMP profiles even though Geil claims it has -> "Optimized for Intel XMP 2.0"
There is simply SPD profile for 2133 clock which is compatible with JEDEC standards.

Results at standard 2133 15-15-15-36 1.20 are below:

I'm not sure if it's related to my motherboard or memory itself but above 3200 one of the memory channels had some problems and in real memory was running as triple channel. Even though software in Windows was showing 16GB and quad channel then performance was lower than expected.
Maximum clock which I was able to set at all 4 sticks was couple MHz above 3400. Validation link is below:

At the beginning I mentioned that price of this kit is low. I was able to get it for as low as ~$100 including local 23% tax and shipping. It's hard to beat this offer, especially with so high overclocking potential.
