does any one have a or know of a good tutorial to get close to real colors on your monitor?

the wife and i are having a hard time with the olympic paint website trying to "paint" the rooms and get a good idea of what color works good but i noticed some of the real life paint samples arent any where near the ones on screen.

mainly reds are more pinkish and some of the greens are brown (like olive greens)

i tweaked brightness saturation and hue and its helped but not quite there yet.

any way its a 7870 and a samsung syncmaster bx2231 hooked up over HDMI incase any one is wondering...
