Getting a new 'Gigabyte GA-970A-D3' for my current build because my current motherboard is broken (Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P MB).

I need to know if my power supply will be enough to power my rig.

Specs:
PSU: SilverStone ST50F-ES 500W PSU 80+
CPU: AMD Phenom II 560 DualCore
GPU: Asus ENGTX550 Ti
Ram: 8G of Kingston 4GB(2 X 2GB) 1333MHZ
HD: 1 (180GB for OP and system Software) 1 (500GB for Random ****)
CD Drive: LG H24NS70/90 SATA 24X
I will be purchasing everything from
http://www.umart.com.au/newindex2.phtml?bid=5
Because i live in Australia and umart atm is the most convenient and cheapest around atm

Having the same mobo for about a week or so now, good choice for a good price!

I think your power supply will power that system no problem. Your GPU has recommended power supply 400W (Not acurrate) so you are good to go. Got a bit different system but 600W was an overkill even for me.

Should cover it unless someday you go to a second video card.

Thanks for the information guys, but as for the motherboard im not sure its broken but i think its causing the 'Computer boots but no display' problem

Does it show any post up info at all? Can you get into bios?
