Gigabyte z68 mobos + scythe mugen 2

Hi!
Is Mugen 2 compatible with GA-Z68XP-UD3P or GA-Z68XP-UD4.
I'm thinking only of motherboard's own heatpipes, I have small DDRs - they'd fit for sure.
From what I see, ud4 has slightly larger heatpipes than ud3p

Hello Shafran,

I don't have the board or cooler, but looking at the pictures you linked and finding some pictures of the Mugen, I am able to give you an approximation as to how much space it will take on the board. From what it looks like, it should fit without issue. You may have to mount the fan a little higher if you have tall RAM or move it to the other side. The cooler is 100mm wide, assuming you are exhausting out the back.

The green is the processor (37.5mm by 37.5mm) and the red is the heatsink (100mm by 150mm). It does overlap the memory slot slightly (1-2mm), but I'm guessing that the heatsink is tall enough that it won't cause an issue.
