Hey guys so i overclocked my i7 920 to 4.0ghz and now i am wondering if these temps are good enough, The hottest core goes to 79C max in prime 95 never reaches 80C, I am using a hyper 212 evo with push pull setup and my cpu voltage is 1.33v the i7 is a D0 920 with a x20 multiplier and 1.35v for the qpi voltage everything else is auto here is a pic of my temps in idle and here is my cpuz

Will the chip run stable with less vcore? You could also try 191x21 which might require a little less on vcore/qpi(vtt) voltages. What speed are you running your ram and uncore at? I see you have HT disabled... I guess you don't need it?

What are your temps like under normal (daily) heavy use?
